Emergency seals project at Ulan West
Mastermyne installation of tailgate 01 Portal 7 emergency seals & frame at Ulan West. The installation was done early in April 2018 by the Mastermyne Ventilation Crew of Craig Underwood, Josh Adams, Jason Paul, Ian Staples and Kal Brownlee. Project Manager is Dan Williams.
The emergency seal was fitted to a new head-frame modular design supplied by Mastermyne through T&B engineering. The frame is rated to 5psi with the modules allowing for work on cables/services to be done without removing entire head frame. The design allows for easy and quick install with or without LHD access.
