Project Mains Development – SP5, SP6 and SP7
Description Manning of one development unit to undertake the development of mains headings in the Kestrel 300’s area. The work also includes stone drivage, overcasts and conveyor chambers.

  • Received formal recognition from RTCA for our safety performance, professionalism and flexibility within the Rio business

Project Mains and Gateroad Development
Description The project scope includes the manning of one development unit to undertake scheduled development. The works extend to the roadway advance in the main headings and carry out development works in the gate roads depending on the client's production requirements.

Description The scope of work includes the installation of ventilation control devices, general ventilation repair and service work, stone dusting and the installation and maintenance of tube bundle lines and filters.

Project Provision of Outbye Services
Description The project scope includes the installation of secondary support, outbye services, recovery of pipes, stone dusting, construction and spraying of ventilation devices, and provision of supplementary labour for development and longwall panels including tradesman.

Rio Tinto - Kestrel Mine Extension
KME-A-CC03 Drift Construction, Inseam and Panel Development

Project Drift Construction, Inseam Development and Panel Development
Description Redpath Australia Pty Limited and Mastermyne Pty Ltd have entered into an unincorporated joint venture for this project.

Redpath’s scope entails the following:

  • SP1A - The construction of a conveyor drift to access the German Creek coal seam
  • SP1B - The construction of a transport drift to access the German Creek coal seam

Mastermyne’s scope entails the following:

  • SP2 - The establishment of inseam drives to establish primary ventilation circuit, TG 401 drive head area and development of sufficient pit room for multiple development headings.
  • SP3 - In-seam development in a Panel designated by the Company. Separable Part 3 commences when there is an established primary ventilation circuit, secondary egress via the transport drift, and sufficient room for the mining of multiple development headings.
