Project Description: The South32 Bulli Seam Operations includes the combined mining operations of Appin and West Cliff mines. The mine is situated approximately 80km south of Sydney near Wollongong, New South Wales.

Mastermyne were responsible for all maintenance activities around the mine’s coal clearance system, including:

  • Inspecting conditions in underground belt roadways
  • Inspecting conveyor belt systems in line with site procedures
  • Cleaning of sumps and delivery of coal clearance supplies
  • Complete maintenance of coal clearance system and magnet bins
  • Complete Conveyor Installations and Relocations
  • Complete Major Component Change out during shutdown periods
