Project Description: Kestrel Mine is an underground operation located 40 kilometres north-east of Emerald in central Queensland, supplying world markets coking and thermal coal.

Mastermyne have been on site at Kestrel Mine since 2008 delivering various contracting services. Currently we are managing and delivering conveyor packages of work, including installations and relocations. Recently we have completed:

  • Development conveyor installs and Removal – MG405, MG404
  • Jiffy conveyor installation and removal- MG407
  • Longwall production conveyor installs- MG404, MG405, MG406
  • Resource management; moving labour to and from secondary support to conveyors during peak work periods
