Cook Colliery Mining Services Agreement Executed
The illustrious Cook Colliery is back in production! In the past week we’ve hit 3 goals: 1) we’ve signed a Mining Services Agreement with Constellation Mining Pty Ltd (a subsidiary of QCoal Group), 2) we’ve been appointed the mine operator, and 3) we’ve reached first coal. This has taken years of hard work by many, congratulations to everyone involved. 
New mining areas and a low-risk mining method means that we’re going into this venture with eyes wide open, using our decades of experience. The first crew to cut coal out were all smiles pre shift and proud to be part of the occasion. SSE Stephen Curtis and his SLT are still building their team.
