The cable hanging crook is a device used to lift a cable to the roof of an underground mine. A cable holder is positioned on both ends of the crook where the bottom one is used to pick up a cable from the ground and the upper holder lifts the cable to the roof. The cable holders are braced on both sides for added support. |
