Mastermyne is appointed to bring the mine back to operational status as a longwall operation under a Secondary Support and Outbye contract to recover the mine from a state of 6 years in care and maintenance. Mastermyne scope of works include:

•  A full review of the mine Safety and Health Management System
•  Re installation of the mines reticulation system comprising new pipe ranges for water, air and pump out system
•  Works to increase the roadway height in the travel and belt roads using CM805, Mastermyne owned Joy 12CM12
•  Reinstall the coal clearance system from the surface stacker conveyor to the North East Mains, four conveyors in all
